A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO LEAN SIX SIGMA TRAINING

The format of our Lean Six Sigma Belt training is a combination of interactive classroom training, on-site coaching/mentoring and individual development for managing and running a Lean Six Sigma project.  An ongoing support structure teams “Belts” with their Champion (a selected manager from their organization) to assure that project selection, process improvement and project completion are carefully executed to insure the desired strategic results.

By focusing on your organization’s strategic goals and objectives, pilot projects are chosen and run by participants while receiving training in the Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and techniques. Upon successful completion of these projects and training, these professionals will be evaluated and certified as Lean Six Sigma Green Belts and Black Belts.

By working on real problems and learning how to apply the right tools at the right time is critical in developing problem solvers; not just learning how to use a software package.  Our on-site coaching/mentoring ensures that our Six Sigma candidates receive a minimum of two half-day sessions for green belt training by one of our Master Black Belts.  Black Belt candidates can receive up to three on-site half-day sessions.

For most of our Lean Six Sigma training classes, we partner with participating companies and these partner companies host the sessions on-site at their facilities.  By training on-site, all students are able to see, feel and touch the problems their classmates are talking about during the training.  Being able to visit the value stream for real problems and discussions accelerates the learning in a living laboratory.

We blend our classes during the basic DMAIC training, placing both Green and Black Belt candidates in the same room.  This allows the Green Belt student to learn from their peers pursuing a Black Belt, as well as from the instructors.  Black Belt candidates get to practice their facilitation and mentoring skills by interacting with the Green Belt students who may be struggling with a concept or continuous improvement tool.

We will contact you within 3 business days to confirm your enrollment and arrange for payment of your tuition fee.

BREAKING THE TRAINING MOLD

Traditional Six Sigma training is conducted in five-day blocks; typically two five-day sessions for Green Belts and four five-day sessions for Black Belts.  This approach requires students to absorb a tremendous amount of information in each session and then attempt to apply it once they are back in their work environment.

Our approach utilizes five two-day sessions for Green Belt training; one session for each of the phases of DMAIC.  Black Belt candidates attend these same five two-day sessions, then continue on with three advanced tools sessions in two to three day blocks.

Using this training model, students are able to quickly absorb an appropriate amount of knowledge and then apply it in a focused manner.  Our on-site coaching/mentoring allows us to see, feel and touch the problems with our students.
